Breakfast Club

We understand that some children will still have their sleepy heads on so our breakfast clubs are designed to wake them up gently!  With a great choice of quiet activities on offer, your children can choose from games and activities such as lego, marble run, books, drawing, colouring, as well as the option to play football or take advantage of the wonderful outdoor space.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we offer all children attending the Early Birds Breakfast Club a choice of a healthy breakfast such as cereal, toast, crumpets.  On some occasions we have options to try something different like bacon sandwiches, croissants or pancakes.

Breakfast Club runs from 7.30am every morning.  Breakfast will be provided and at the end of the session, we will escort children to their classrooms for the start of the school day.

After School Club

Our after school clubs are a great place to relax, unwind or take part in some fun activities.

We understand that children have been working hard at school and after a long day, might want to simply relax.  Our after school clubs have been described as "going to play at someones house, but with loads of people and games to play."  It is no wonder that when parents turn up to collect their children, sometimes they just don't want to leave!

All of our after school clubs run straight from after school (3.15pm) until 6pm each school day.  Once children arrive at the Club room, they are able to play with the wide range of free play activities.  For the first and last 30 minutes of the club, children are able to watch some television or play on the Wii.  Each club offers children a snack and this is usually served between 4 - 4.30pm.  We offer children a varied menu from toast to jacket potatoes and the children regularly help us make homemade soup and potato wedges.  Children will also get the opportunity to cook sausages or dough balls on an open fire when we are running a forestry session in the after school club.  Every night we offer an organised activity run by one of the FISH play workers; this can be anything from den building, arts and crafts activities, rounders, hockey, bouncy castle games or an organised Grand Prix knock out race on the scaletrix.

How to book....

All parents will need to ensure that they have registered an account online :

www.funinschoolholidays.co.uk/bookings

When logging in to use the system, you will firstly need to register.  This only needs to be done once and then an account will be on the system for you to access anytime of the day or night.  Each time you log in and head to the booking form, it will display all sessions available over that half term period.  You can log in, access and book sessions as many times throughout the booking period as you require, although obviously if you know exactly which sessions you need, we recommend booking for the whole half term in one go just incase a session becomes fully booked.

All sessions do need to be booked and paid for in advance and the online system will allow you to make these bookings up until midnight before each week begins.  We can accept last minute spaces though and these can be done by giving the office a call on 08445 618847.  Bookings can be very flexible and the sessions you require can be changed on a weekly basis depending on your needs although - please note - once sessions have been booked they are non-transferable and non-refundable.  Full booking conditions can be found on the booking form or on the website.

How to pay....

You can pay for your session online using a debit, credit card, childcare voucher or Tax-Free Childcare.  We are currently registered with most providers but we are happy to register if your voucher provider is not on the list.  Please note that once sessions are booked, they are non-refundable or transferable so please ensure that you have selected the correct dates.
