PE and Sport Premium

Primary schools each receive a sum of money for sports funding plus an additional amount per pupil.

St James has not been eligible for this funding until 2019-20, when we had children in Year 1 but PE, healthy lifestyles and outdoor activities have always had a high profile in our school and we aim to get children excited about playing sport, games and exploring the outdoors.

St James 2nd Virtual Sports Day - Summer 2021 Due to COVID restrictions, we sadly were unable to hold our traditional Sports Day so instead we ran our virtual Sports Day in bubbles. Fingers crossed for Summer 2022 x

St James first EVER Virtual Sports Day - Summer 2020 Due to COVID-19, we were unable to hold a traditional Sports Day this year, so we held instead our first EVER Virtual Sports Day. Children both at home and in school were presented with different sporting challenges over the day and this video will give you a small insight on how well the children did. Fantastic effort Team St James!
