Feedback, Complaints and Compliments
At St James CofE Primary and Nursery School, we value open communication and take all feedback, constructive or positive, seriously. We are committed to working in partnership with parents and carers to resolve concerns swiftly and constructively.
If you have a concern, we encourage you to speak directly with your child’s class teacher in the first instance. Most issues can be resolved quickly and informally at this level.
If the matter remains unresolved, please contact our Headteacher, Miss Maria Hazlewood, who will be happy to discuss the issue further and seek a positive resolution.
Should you wish to make a formal complaint or escalate the matter beyond the school, please refer to the Complaints Procedure of the Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust, which outlines the steps and expectations for handling complaints. You can access the policy via the Trust’s website here.
