Ask your child to write down all the words they can think of that has an ‘i’ making the ‘igh’ sound. Can you think of any other ones to add to the list?
Can your child think of their own phonics story that uses some or all of the words?
If they’re struggling with writing a story, can they put these words into sentences (big thumbs up if they can use more than 2 words in one sentence)
