Recap with your child what Fairtrade is, what it means and why it is important.

Talk through the assembly plan for Hotel Necessita. This activity is all about children thinking about the choices they make and how these change depending on what they have.

Complete the role play with your child (adult being the receptionist and the child being the person staying) or, give the child a certain amount of money and create a price list for each thing that they can have in their hotel room. Can they draw a picture of their hotel room with only the things they can afford.

Create 2 or 3 hotel rooms depending on their budgets.
