Play the Months of the Year Song and allow the children to join in to familiarise themselves with the order of the months, the spellings and the tune.

Show the children the 2 activities.

First, can they go through the months of the year to find out which month is one before and one after the one of the sheet? Let them use their wheels from yesterday/last week to help them if they need it. But encourage independence where you can, especially with spellings.
