Play the Months of the Year Song and allow the children to join in to familiarise themselves with the order of the months, the spellings and the tune.

Problem Solving:
Show your child the problem. There are clues to other children and when their birthdays are. The children may your help to read the clues, but leave it up to solve the problem. If they don’t know one straight away (like when is Valentine’s Day), then encourage them to go onto the next one to fill in other gaps before that one.
