In 2021-22, our Y1 class is led by Miss Dart and she is supported by Mrs Redding and Ms Crockett. Please see a range of learning adventures below that the children in Y1 have experienced this year.

In art we were learning how to manipulate clay to make shapes and coil pots.
In PE we learnt how to do some basic gymnastic shapes.
We had fun learning and exploring outside with Emily from Devon Wildlife Trust

We had a fun 'wheelie Day' for our class treat!
Design and Technology Day - We had fun learning about where fruit and vegetables grow and then we made smoothies. Cutting the fruit and veg was not as easy as it looked and it took lots of resilience and determination!
Summer Term
Learning outside with Emily from Devon Wildlife Trust
Learning about money and counting different coins.
Festival of Hope cricket festival (well it ended up being rugby!)
A day at the beach.
