As the school grows, we will be recruiting staff to education and support roles. 

 

Current vacancies : Teaching Assistants x 2 

 

 

Teaching Assistant
(1 x 30 hours per week Permanent;

 1 x 30 hours per week Fixed Term subject to funding)

Job Term:                   1 x Permanent role; 1 x Fixed term subject to funding arrangements

Salary:                         Grade C

Closing Date:             12 noon on Monday 18th May 2020

Interview Date:          Wednesday 3rd June 2020

St James Church of England Primary and Nursery School opened in September 2018. It has a distinctive Christian character and makes the most of its’ Dartmoor setting by specialising in outdoor learning and education. You will need a good pair of wellies.

This is an exciting opportunity where we are looking for two Teaching Assistants to join our team in September 2020.  You will need to use your skills to assist the Class Teachers in enabling pupils to access learning and experiences.  You’ll be working under the direction of the Class Teacher and SENDCO to assist in the management of pupils and the classroom.

If you have experience of working with children of a relevant age, relate well to children and adults and are passionate about enabling all children to access learning, we’d like to hear from you!

The successful candidates will be joining a small, committed and supportive staff team in a developing school. Flexibility is key.

One position is offered as permanent, the other is offered as a fixed term post, subject to funding.
