Talk to the children about everything they can remember about their Christmas holidays.
Who did they see? What presents did they receive? Did they go anywhere? Did they play with anyone / anything new?
Draw pictures / create a mind-map of the things that they remember.
Show the children a picture / print off the marking symbols that we use at school. Can they remember and tell you what each one means?
Explain that they’re going to be telling Miss Tooms all about their holidays and she’s going to be looking out for some of these things.
