The giants found other things to do in their homes and their gardens rather than getting into their cars and travelling to do things or doing lots of work. We’ve been able to practise this in lockdown.

What are your favourite things to do at home? Have you learnt a new skill? Do you help out with anything? Have you taught yourself a new game?

Write a letter to the giants telling them about how to do your favourite thing and encouraging them to join in too. What do you think they should try? Why should they try it? What’s so good about that activity? Why is it your favourite thing to do at home?

Remember we start a letter with ‘dear’ and we end it with ‘from’.

Keep practising using your contractions, conjunctions, adjectives and now we can use verbs too!!
