Look at your mindmap from yesterday – what new things did we learn about Greta?

Show the children one or a couple of the internet pages / reading extracts about Greta. Go through them and ask your child to highlight the key bits of information that they find. They may be able to read and highlight independently or they may need you to read it to them and then they can establish the most important parts from that.

Completing exercises like this is important because it teaches children to identify important information and learn to summarise what they have read / listened to.
