sound   spelt      ‘i’            in common         exception words: find, kind, mind, behind, child (children), wild, climb as well as others as needed by pupils.

Word Shapes:
Ask your child to draw a 2D shape on a piece of paper and give them a dice (if you don’t have a dice, you could place the words face down and ask them to choose a words each turn).

Whenever they roll a number, they have to write the corresponding words along the outline of the shape.

1 = climb

2 = find
3 = child
4 = kind

5 = behind

6 = wild
